how can i zip a file with javascript?

I'd like to zip a file(file.txt) in the same directory as that file....

Don't believe that is possible.

Might be able to do it with PHP --- ===
Supports Mozilla and Web Standards
Knows HTML/XHTML, CSS1, JavaScript, PHP, C++, DOM1
