Recently I installed my HP Scanner CD-Rom, that came with my ScannerJet 5p long ago, to try the Corel Photo-Paint program. It has associated itself with my existing images. I do not want this association and I want to uninstall it and remove it. However, my start/program listing for Corel Photo-Paint 5 has no uninstall feature listed. The Corel program is not listed in my W/S 98 add/remove program either in the control panel. I uninstalled the scanner, but that didn't remove the Corel program. I tried deleting the Corel directory from the C:/programs, but that didn't return the images to their previous type either. So I have installed it again to find our how to remove it properly. Is there some way to uninstall it and to remove its association with my images?

frfvr,

I don't know how to change you associations back automaticlly but if you go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Folder Options and select the File Types tab you can change them manually.

Hope this helps.
