Hello all,

We have two circuits running into our office space: A data only T1 going into a Cisco 1721 router and a Data/Voice T1 going into a Cisco IAD2431-16FXS router.

Currently, our network is only using the Data T1 (Cisco 1721) as the internet connection and our PBX is using the other T1 (IAD2431) for the voice lines.

We have plently of left over bandwidth on the Data/Voice T1 line - how can I take advantage of this bandwidth? It would be great if we can somehow merge the connection, etc.

Below is a diagram of what our current architecture looks like:

1721 --> Catalyst 2950
2431 --> Catalyst 2950 --> PIX506 --> Catalyst 3560G --> rest of network ...

In the diagram above, the Catalyst 2950 is our "external switch" feeding into the firewall.

Any help/advice is appreciated, thanks all.

Burts - thanks for the suggestion. According to the telco, the Voice router (2431) already prioritizes the voice traffic over all the data traffic traversing over that particular router.

Now it's just a matter of somehow merging the two T1s together so we can take advantage of the additional bandwidth.
