I i would like to open a exe file as a NT service in Windows 2000.
I want it to appear as an small size icon in my Windows taskbar just like the Volume control.
How can I do this ?
Thanks,
Ganesh

Well, you're asking for two different things there. To get a program to run as a service, refer to the MS Knowledge base article Q137890.

As far as getting your programs to show up in the systray, I am not aware of any tools to get pre-compiled programs to show up in the systray. I believe they have to be written to appear as such. Marc Creviere
