Does anyone know how can i simulate an E1 link between my 2 2610s with an E1 card each?

Is it as simple as just a cross RJ45 terminated UTP cable?

i am not sure what the pinout for the e1 is but i know that with internal t1 interfaces you can use a standard t1 crossover cable.

i believe the pinout is

1 4
2 5

on one end

and then

4 1
5 2

on the other

essentially just cut one side of an rj 45 straightthrough cable and then reverse the pairs 1 4 and 2 5.

from there you just have to clock one side as the dce and set the other side to get its clock from the network. that should be all. here is a link i found on the T1 version.

look at the section connecting t1 back to back.

Is the following correct?
1 orange/white --- 4 Blue
2 orange --- 5 Blue/white
3 green/white --- green/white
4 blue --- orange/white
5 blue/white --- orange
6 green --- green
7 brown/white --- brown/white
8 brown --- brown
