I use Outlook 2000 for my e-mail, I also set up Outlook Express at Home to read my e-mail from work, but when I do it I "loose the e-mail", I checked on Outlook 2000 save copy to server, but how can I retrieve the mail from the server when I'm back at the office and use Outlook 2000.
It is a POP 3 account, is there a setting in Outlook Express?

Thanks,

If you are using POP3 protocol you can go to TOOLS - ACCOUNTS - MAIL.
Select your MAIL account and click on PROPERTIES.
Select ADVANCED
Select the option "Leave a copy of the message on server"

Or another option is if your mail system supports IMAP then you can recreate your account to use IMAP instead of POP3 so that no messages gets downloaded but rather you work interactively with the server online. joegz

I did check this option, but only on the Outlook 2000 at work, and the next day a few messages I read on Outlook express did not come in on Outlook 2000.

Do I have to do it on both MS-Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express?

Thanks

Yes for OE. Outlook that all depends on how Outlook is installed and setup. If this is a Corporate Workgroup installation for Outlook, you are using an Exchange server and you are not having messages delivered to a personal folder then the option is not necessary.

If you are having mail delivered to a personal folder rather than an Exchange server mailbox then you won't have that option available (If I remember correctly).

If this is an Internet Mail Only installation of Outlook then you should have that option avaialble when you setup the Internet Mail service. joegz
