how can I put a password on a folder?

Must first be that your file system is an NTFS file system. Right click on the folder, point to properties and sharing. DO NOT SHARE this folder. When someone logs on your pc using a different account, he/she can't access your folder. Sorry, there is no such ting as passwords for folders. :)
 
Well, yes and no. With Simple File Sharing disabled, user permissions can be assigned to any folder. But if rrmagno's solution works for you, we won't get into that.
 
Agreed with above replies, one other is encryption as a possibility. Only admins will have access unless explicitly denied in the Local Security Policies.
