Hi
I have 2 databases (Instances) on the same server; opne is a production db and the other is a test; how could I make a copy of the production database and replace the test; or how can I make a copy of the production DB and have a new DB?
Thanks in advance
I am using Oracle 7.3.4 Solaris

Hi. Not sure how relevant they will be but try a search for 'clone' in either the 8i or 9i fora. I'm sure they'll give some hits and enable you to follow through for a 7.3.4 database. Sorry I can't be of more help just now - it's hit-the-road time!
