Hi,
First u find out the machine where the gateway is running has got internet connection, then check out on which port the gateway is running,now in ur client programme set the port number and machine IP of the gateway.I hope it will work fine.......

As Above:
For Example, with Internet Explorer if your firewall was on
a server (say Delila) which had port 8080 configured for http Internet access then you would open the client program (Internet Explorer) and go to Tools - Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings. Leave Automatic Configuration alone and check the box for 'use proxy' entering 'Delila' and 1082 in the Address and Port edit boxes.
