hi,

i noticed that legato lacks built-in customizable reporting/statistics generating tools.

i was just wondering how would you determine the number of tapes consumed by a particular schedule automatically?

ya, but mminfo -m only displays the tapes and the expiration of the "whole" tape. if in case a more recent saveset is included in one tape, then the whole tape's expiration adjusts to the expiration of the latest tape.

what i am after is the number of tapes consumed per backup schedule not the expiration of the whole tape...

in addition mminfo -m is not that flexible... you cannot use -r option with the -m
