How can I check is ADPrep /forestprep has replicated to all DC's so that I can take the next step and ADPrep /domainprep?

You can do this with adsiedit. There are two places you need to check. The first is CN=Operations,CN=DomainUpdates,CN=System,DC=yourdomain,DC=com. There should be something like 53 sub-containers in that Operations container.

The second place is CN=Operations,CN=ForestUpdates,CN=Configuration,DC=yourdomain,DC=com. There should be about 37 sub-containers in that Operations container.

Actually, I just noticed you just wanted to check for forestprep. In that case, you just check the second place that I listed (ForestUpdates).
