how can I buy Informatica

I am really puzzled by this one. Even if you could buy it elsewhere your vendor will have gotten it (and paid it) from Informatica. Since he is in business to make some money he will resell at a steeper price, leaving you with just informatica as an option (I agree, their prices are hefty...)
