hotmail email client set up

Hi,

Could someone please let me know how\if it is possible to set up an email client to pick up web based hotmail,

You must sign up (upgrade) with Hotmail to Hotmail Plus for $19.95/year. The free version of Hotmail does not include this feature.

Once you have signed up they will provide you with the info require to setup Outlook (or other email client) to POP email from your account.

open outlook and goto e-mail accounts in the tools menu. Select add new account and choose HTTP and then enter your email address and password. I have standard hotmail and use outlook to download my mail o.k

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

Some e-mail clients can use Hotmail accounts. They are:

Outlook Express 5 & 6
Outlook 2002 & 2003

It may be possible to use other mail clients with some 3rd party software.
