Hot to convert Blob to CComBSTR?

I have a Blob datatype in sql server.
the retrieved data is converted to an IStream. From IStream, it has to be converted to CComBSTR. While converting we get a E_OUTOFMEMORY error. i appreciate any code or procedures to convert a IStream to CComBSTR.
