Hot Spot Trouble

Hello, I'm having trouble with putting a hot-spot link onto an image. I select the image, select the rectangular hot-spot tool and then try to action, it'll let me drag over the part but it won't let me make the hot-spot.

The image is in a page which is linked to a template and in a table within a table.

I've tried this in a page from new and it works, but there seems to be something stopping it when it's in a template?

There shouldn't be any problems with doing that. All the hotspot does is allow you to use an image as a link...try the steps again, as a tutorial try creating a hotspot in a new file and see if allows that.
Know what I mean?? I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Ok you say that your page is linked to a template, is it editable??

If you want to use the same image and hotspot on all of your template linked pages then do it IN your template itself.
