*** Hot Spot Mouseover Effect Misbehaving ***

Using hot spots and Mouseove effects I am having one problem...I'm using a DHTML effect (swap Picture) on my gifs. When I hover over two of them behave correctly meaning the effect only happens when I mouse over the hot spot....BUT on one gif...I get the effect as soon as I mouse over the gif itself and the hot spot is inches away!!!???
