Hosting - Set/monitor Storage limit

Hey....

Is there a built in utility or perhaps a 3rd party app that will restrict the amount of space a hosted site can have?

The problem is this:

We maintain a University Web Server...
There are many folders directly under the main domain.

Each department controlls there own area...
We have some departments with their own site name as well.

We have problems with people adding lots of video files and dropping the "shared storgare" so far that we have stroarge problems.

How doe I predefine a set size for a site (or folder if possible) This way they are limited to that size and cannot crash our system.


Any help with this? we need to get some good IIS monitoring softare and Utility application for IIS.

I would recommend we start using one for all of our web servers.


How to manage the user Quota?
For Quota management by default Windows NT doesn't have any in-built facility.

But you can use 3rd party tools (i.e. Quota Advisor)
