Hey Everyone,
I need some help here. I have a client with a web page coded in pearl and I am not a pearl programmer. Can someone tell me what I need to do to host pearl pages on my server? Right now the pages are just showing the code and I can't find any good information on it.

Thanks a lot for any help,

Wes

Goto and download ActivePerl.

Install it.

Once you install it go to your IIS server properties for go to home directory tab > configuration,
you will need to add the following. If your client is coding and perl and saving it as .pl or .cgi, then you will need to add them to the extions list and associate the perl.exe program this way.

.pl path to perl\bin\perl.exe %s %s

.cgi same as above

Note this is for windows nt and 2000 only, for windows 2003 it is a different switch I think it is %96 %96 instead of %s, but you can check that on ActiveStates website.

ActivePerl is free by the way. I just installed in on one of my W2k servers this past weekend. works great!
