Host file.

I am running winpatrol. It has a setting to lock the host file. Why is the local host set to 127.0.0.1
What does that number mean????

I have added a list of other settings from web trackers and other junk stuff from

127.0.0.1 is the default ip for the localhost (the local computer)

its a way for the modem to talk to itself for tests and such.... its normal.. and thats why you never see 127 networks
