Host directory?

What do I have to put in the host directory field to load my website to my remote server? The information I was given from my seriver said my root folder was "/home". I typed that into the host directory field but that did not work. It may be a stupid question but I am stumped and can't get the freaking thing loaded up

Help me!!!!

you will need the full root to that folder, as in

http://www.yourhost.com/yoursite/home/

or

http://ftp.yoursite.com/home/
