Homesite takes a long time to boot

Hi,

Does anyone else have this problem:

When I launch Homesite, my whole computer freezes for about 10 seconds (mouse does not move), then I see the usual homesite splash page and homesite launches and runs ok.

What is causing this, and can I do anything about it?

I have a P-III 866MHz with 128MB RAM, so I don't think computing power is the problem. Also,I have just reformatted and reinstalled Windows 98 SE.
