I have two PC's, One is win 98, the other is win 95. Both have eithernet cards and a crossover cable connecting them.
Please explain in detail the absolute best and easiest way to setup networking on these two sets.
I have tried several differant ways with some success, but would like some opinions.

Thanks

The best way if it is just the 2 PC's is to ensure they have all recent NIC card drivers. Then I suggest just using the NetBEUI protocol on both. Ensure the Workgroup name is the same on both. You can also use TCP/IP. Make one PC IP address 192.168.0.1 and the other 192.168.0.2. And ensure that the workgroup on both is the same. James Collins
