I've set up a desktop and laptop through a wireless router in my home and I'd like to use only one .pst and .pab for both with Outlook.

I've read that I can only have one instance of Outlook open at a time if I were to reference the same .pab and .pst files on my desktop.

I'd sure like to be able to send out an email from either computer and receive them into only one folder that is syncronized on both.

We don't have MS Exchange server. Net folders don't seem to be the answer as I don't want to use two different email addresses.

Any ideas?

As long as you have the .PST and .PAB files in a shared directory, and you have Outlook installed on both computers, this shouldn't be a problem.

Then just go into the mail settings and redirect them to use the shared files

It is true however that you can only have one instance of Outlook open to access these mail files.
