Hi everyone,

Here's my problem

I have 2 PC (win98 and w2k server) connected to a netgear rp614 router over cable modem.

When my win98 is online alone everything is working fine.
When a boot my w2k it's working for a short period of time and after nobody can access the net. In the stats of the router there's nothing that exit on the wan port.

I call the tech support of netgear and they tell me to check the w2k server which is probably broacasting and after a certain buffer is full it's stop working!!!!
It's make sense because the link on the router is always flashing.

What can cause broadcast on a w2k server??????

P.S. I'm a newbie to w2k server!!!

Thanks

Dan

I'm not sure if this is it, but is your w2k server trying to issue DCHP addresses? If it is I'd turn that off and let the router be the one to hand them out.
