We currently use roaming profiles in a Citrix environment where most users use Thin Client devices, and there are 8 terminal servers. Profiles work fine, and always have, the problem is, it copies the users My Documents which is really slowing people down in the morning. What I want, is to use Home Directories as well. I created a share on the server \\servername\home permissions and everything are fine. Then added \\servername\home\%username% into the profile path in AD under connect: H drive. When the user logs in, it created a the user folder and just a Windows folder under the share, nothing else. Now, I dont want to tell users they have to use there H drive to store things, I want My Documents just to go there (mainly because we dont let them see my computer or mapped drives, but they are there.) I created a GPO and used folder redirection to direct my documents, but it doesnt do anything, it stays the default setting. It just seems the Home Directory is creating correctly, although it does put a windows folder there. I know GPO's are working fine. Any help would be great. thanks
