Is there a way to adjust the tie a call is on hold before it transfers to the operator.

My customer has to do research for several minutes and must place the callers on hold for a long time. The callers know this so they do not complaint about long hold times.

The problems is that after about 2 minutes the call starts not only flashing on the station it was placed on hold at but also at the reception.

Can I make this time hold timer longer?
 
Is that the reminder that beeps every 30 seconds?

They still want to be reminded that a call is on hold they just dont want it to transfer to any other extension. They want it to stay on hold at that extension.

Is there a function like a Delay Hold Transfer timer for example that could be set to make the call stay on hold at an extension lets say for 5 mins before transferring?
 
I think he's talking abput DRT timer which will send the call to the prime set if left on hold too long. Change Prime set to none on the lines and it will stay at the DN that put the call on hold, but it will ringing there after the hold time expires.

Note: changing Prime may affect other things depending on how the system is programmed.
 
What is the longest time for the DRT timer to be set?
