Hold Music Embedded memory Card

Has anyone had any issues uploading holdmusic.wav to an ip office 500 V2 version 6?. When a put this file on the system sd card and select this as my default music on hold i just get silence when listing to the music. I can load the same wav file onto an IPoffice 500 embbeded memmory card and it works fine. Is there something differnt about the V2 sd card or im I doing something wrong.

Possibly the old read only issue causing you problems, try re-uploading the file a couple of times, does SSA show the file as loaded and I assume it's set to WAV/internal not external

Yes its set to wav/ internal. When I have tested this to wav internal on our IP500 and there is no holdmusic.wav present it automatically goes back to the standard tone. On this V2 system it doesnt. Also where can you see in System status if its uploaded?

Look under "Resources" then at the top of the screen

A thanks yes it say primary music on hold source 1. But nothing when a dial *34#

It should also say "loaded" and try *341# as the system comes with 4 sources now the 1 says listen to the first source

On CF-Cards you had to upload the WAV-file directly to the root directory of the card.

Be sure that you uploaded the file into the subdir \system\primary
