Hitachi visionbook disassembly

I have a Hitachi visionbook plus 4000 series model 4360X in for a fan failure repair. We can not figure out how to get this unit apart. There is something holding it together in the upper left hand corner. Has anyone worked on this type of unit that can offer advice.

I have never worked on that specific model, but I can tell you that if any of the drives, or the battery etc are removable then take them out first.
Some of them will be held in place that way.
There are also plastic tabs that clip in, and obscure screw locations, so be careful.

I have lived your problem too many times.
Have you contacted them to see if you can get any help?
Sometimes they will fax you specs...
