We have an ancient Siemens HiPath 3550. I have access to the device via Manager E. I have recently been handed full control of the PBX systems as the previous person is no longer available.

We need to change the auto attendant recording. How do I do this?

I'm no expert on the antiquities, but I have to wonder if that's setup in Xpressions or other voicemail system? If you have Xpressions, open up Application Builder and check in there. But I could be barking up the wrong tree.....

Nope, doesn't use Xpressions. But I found out how to do it... Probably not the way it is supposed to be done but I did it this way anyway.

Phone the voicemail extension, set up your own voice mail box (we don't use mailboxes) by putting in 1234.
Then change your mailbox password to something else.
Hang up and call voicemail again.
This time enter 1234 and it asks for the mailbox that you want to enter... Use the auto attendant extension.

PRESTO! You have now gained access and can then change the recorded message (push 0 to delete the old one, push 0 again to record a new one)
And through some fiddling, I found out how to program which numbers send you to what extensions in the EVM section of Manager E.
