High Errored Seconds count, no impact to calls?

Anyone run into this before? I have a group of 10 DS-1's that come in from the telco on a DS-3. All of them are experiencing high ES counts (as high as 900 seconds per interval), but the calls all sound fine. With that ES count, I'd expect the trunks to be out of service. Is it possible to get "false" ES counts?

Telco already looked at their DS-3 and said they are clean to their gear.

you should have a lot of dropped calls. YOu might not see this without monitoring the trunks

I agree, I was expecting dropped calls, bad quality, etc. But we are having none of that. I've service observed multiple calls and they are all 100% clear. Plus, the user base at the affected location has said nothing and they are a pretty high-maintenance group that would definitely say something. It's very weird...

I've seen that once before - on a trunk between 2 DCS'd sites. It's always got the errored seconds but sounds fine...
