High CPU Utilization and Access

I have noticed on several PC systems that when Access 97 is the active window on Windows 9x and 2000 systems the CPU utilization goes to (and stays at) 100%.

Has anyone else seen this?
Is there a solution to it?

P.S. This seems true for Access 2.0 also.

yes remembers seeing it.
such effect doesn't exist anymore on win 2000 and access 2002.
