hiding recipients

Hi.
The environment is Exchange 5.5 using Outlook 97 clients.

Could someone tell me if it's possible to hide recipients from each other without using the BCC: field. (ie a user sends an email to several people but doesn't want them to see each other's names)? If so, how could this be done?
