hiding layers in Netscape - a problem

I have perfectly working hidelayers function.
I hava added a hideall function, that uses the hidelayers function but loops trough all of the layers, listed in an array thus hiding them all.

I've been getting some strange error on Netscape 4.6:
If I put some complicated stuff in one layer, say a 9x9 table, with small photos and a few links, Netscape cannot hide the following layer, and gives an error.

If I replace the table with,a simple text, (hello world!) , it has no problem, and hides all of the layers.

If I make the layer that contains 'the complicated stuff' the last layer, then Netscape doesn't give an error.

But what if I have 12 layers that contain tables, links, got forbid, onclicks?

I don't know if a solution exists, but it is sure very annoying!

Any ideas? (Other than using frames...)

Thank you all

Sorry!
It's not a 9x9 table, but only a 3x2, with thumbnails.
It's 4 a.m., I have double vision...
