Mar 6, 2007 1 #2 gpalmer711 IS-IT--Management May 11, 2001 2,445 GB The only way that I know to do this is to modify the notepad.exe file using a resource editor such as http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ Basically what the above software will allow you to do is open up notpad.exe and modify the menus however you want. You can then save the file and notepad will not have the menu. You will also need to modify the system file protection on Windows XP as notepad is part of this system. What this will not do is remove the ability to press ctrl+s to save or the automatic prompt to save when the document is closed.
