Hidden security Rights ?

Hi my knowledge of NT 4 server permissions is basic although I think I do understand the basics. Please bear with me on this.

Is it possible to list of find Access deny for a user?

AS on one of are domain's one of are users who is a member of the Domain Admin group as I am but this users (Tony) was able to rename and delete files in a folder as Domain admin has full control of that folder (A) but since some changes i.e. adding additional groups by the user (Tony) to a different server in the domain (note Tony is not a member of any of the new groups) Now user (Tony) has only got List rights to the Folder (A) and is unable to modify any files within.

I am also a member of the Domain Admin group and have the same rights as the user (Tony) and I still have Full Control on the folder (A).

We have tried adding the user (Tony) to the security of the parent folder with Full Control but this makes no difference. Help!!!!!!!

Since this post we have found that no one has rights to the folder (A) and the only way I was accessing it was through a drive mapped to the admin D$ share.
