Hidden files (desktop.ini) become unhidden after backup?

Hi All,

I'm running a Linux ARCServe backup server with about 7 Windows clients.

I've noticed of late, that after a backup, all instances of desktop.ini on the Windows systems are unhidden. There may be other hidden files that are becoming unhidden as well, but this seems to have the biggest impact on the system.

Has anyone experienced this before, and have any suggestions as to a resolve?
