Hello,
I have inherited an in-service HiPath 150e setup, along with the laptop with the HiPath software to administer it via a DB serial cable on the front of the conroller card. Is there a way to access this unit via TCP/IP? I would like to be able to make changes in my comfy air conditioned office rather than in the hot dusty warehouse. I tried using *95 from my set but it says "not authorized" so am looking for other ways of remote admin. What are my options?
Thanks, Jeff

Thanks. I was afraid of that, but just thought that I would ask since the software had the ability to let you enter IP information in it. Must be for controlling a bigger unit. I will try the dialup.

Thanks, Jeff

There is a possibility to manage your pabx via ip. But when you are using it only for managing your pabx it is pretty expensive. The way to do this is an extra module called HG1500.
And the fact that your phone is saying "not authorised" when you dial *95 is that only the first two connected systemphones are allowed to manage via the phone.
