Hi,

We are now in the process of moving over to a microsoft ISA proxy server (from squid & squidGuard) and now have the following problem:

I have about 200 users with roaming profiles therefore requiring to chnge all users proxy settings within explorer (ver 5.5).

Question:
Is there a reg key I can set so that when they move desks they keep the correct details. I don't like the
idea of having to log every user onto every machine.

Cheers for any help/pointers.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]

"ProxyServer"="<new proxy server detail>"
"ProxyOverride"="<any exclusions>"

Or use

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]

for specific user?

Just realised NT - so REGEDIT4 not Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 (don't know if that matters).

Cheers wolluf.

That worked a treat.... also saved my legs a lot of work as well :)
