Hi everyone,
I have a little problem here, my isp provider blocks all the ports on my network except port 22 and 111 and I got this info by scanning my ports using the service provided by ( called 'SHIELDS UPP!!').
I see that he has put some other ports on stealth mode and
I heard that if I use some "port forwarding" method,I can create a tunnel throught the existing ports available and I can access the ports required.
Let me tell you about my infrastructure.
I use a P4 1.6Ghz with 256mb RAM running on WinXp.
( This is wat i actually use now while wat mentioned below are just there but I rarely use them)
I also own a P2 233MHz with 128 MB RAM. and I also have a D-Link HUB.
My operater provides me with an IP which I use to connect and he also provides me with a Gateway IP , and two DNS IPs.
Kindly advice,
Kewlcoder.
(I KNOW THAT THIS IS A NETWORK RELATED QUESTION BUT I COULD HARDLY IDENTIFY IN WHICH PARTICULAR FORUM OF THIS SITE I SHOULD POST THIS ..... IF YOU THINK THERE IS A BETTER CHANCE FOR A SOLUTION IN SOME OTHER FORUM PLEASE MENTION THE NAME AND I WILL POST THE MESSAGE THERE).
