Hi,
I've bought an Asus A7N8X motherboard
Nothing to say : It's really a good choice.
My config now is :
A7N8X rev2.0 Bios C1005 - XP2200+ - GeForce 4 Ti4200 - Maxtor 80 Go ATA133 - Plextor 48/24/48 - Lite-On DVD 16/48x - SBlaster Live 5.1

I've just a question : When I boot my PC, The POST message informs me that memory is running at 133 Mhz (sync. with CPU FSB) Is it right for a PC2700 DDR memory ???
Something wrong in my Bios config. ???

Hi,

Remember that this motherboard takes DDR memory - Dual Data Rate - means that you get read/write access to it on both read and write cycles. Therefore, 133MHz DDR is treated as 266MHz by the system which is normal for that.

It's because you are running a XP2.2+ which runs at 133 (266fsb )
If you had an XP2.5+ to XP3.0+ then they are 333fsb your fsb would be 166. (you multiply this figure by two for DDR)
So 133 default is correct for your XP2.2+

Thanks to all

You was right, I've the correct config for CPU/Memory

Yesterday, I upgraded my CPU from XP2200+ to XP2800+
Everything works well, but now I have some trouble with my sound card (SB Live 5.1), like cracking sound with divx player or games...

What's that ???
