hi, im using win XP and Office XP

hi,
im using win XP and Office XP
now since last week i am unable to open outlook at all.
when i try to perform a send/recieve it just closes giving no error meassages.
i regularly download critical updates etc.
i have tried re-installing Office XP to no avail.
