Hi,
Im new to Veritas and currently reading up on how to actually use this software. My organisation requires me to backup data on several machines on a daily basis. So far, I have 1 machine (A) with Veritas installed and 1 tape drive in that machine. I could do all the backups there, fairly simple. But now I have another machine (B) that has data that i need to backup and that machine (B) also has a tape drive of its own. Now, is it possible for me to schedule a job on Machine A to backup data located in Machine B to the tape drive that is installed in Machine B? So that i don't have to schedule jobs on different machines. Is this possible? I've read up on using the 'Backup Folder' option, and it looks feasible. Im just wondering if its worth me trying this out. So is it possible or not?
