Hi,

I am trying to do IDR of Win2003 uisng BE 9.1 installed on win2003, when I try to connect to media server it is not able to connect using machine name at all but it is able to connect using ip address, is it coz of DNS ?

the problem is i am getting the error
IDR: Unable to attach to one of the drives

when it try to create the job on media server.


any idea?

after entering media server info using IP not machine name it takes a while and then connect and it display the parttions with VSS without media set and when I click on Backup and Next they appear after that

when I click on Next to recover those parttions it create login account and try to create restore job but I get the error:
Now I am getting a new error:
authentication failed to connect to server

I already having the login account in Backup Media login accounts list.

Any idea which account it uses to restore the remote machine
