Hi all
I had a running/working mapping that needed to be modified since some of the columns that were being used from the sources had been dropped and renamed or moved to another table. And thus it was necessary to make the changes to these source tables and their columns in my mapping's Source Qualifier.
After making the appropriate changes, my mapping is valid, but when i run it in session manager, i get the following error:

READER_1_1_1> DBG_21434 Reader [SQTRANS]: Getting empty buffer block for reading
READER_1_1_1> Mon Mar 24 10:59:18 2003
READER_1_1_1> CMN_1038 Oracle Error
CMN_1038 [Function: Bind Col
Error: ORA-01007: variable not in select list
]

I have tried several times to go over all the links from the various source tables to the SQ and ensured that these point to the correct source tables and columns...but to no avail.
Could someone pls. point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
KG

Check your SQL Override! You seem to use an overrided SQL which does not match the columns in your Source Qualifier.

Rgds.

Thanks Juergen for your reply.
I did find out that it was indeed the sql i was using in my sql override. Apparently there were some formatting issues (blank spaces etc.) since I had created the sql in word and copied and pasted it in the sql override window !

After breaking my head over it for a couple of hours, I decided to re-format the sql eliminating some blank spaces and carriage returns etc. and that did it !

Thanks!
