for starters, i am running CM 2.2

i will try to explain this as best i can so that the question is understood.

i have a client that would like to be able to hear the audio from the television. they can supply me a single pair audio connection.

now how would i, what would i use, if i can, to make a user go off hook, press a button (abrdg??) and be able to hear the TV & make it one way so other user listening to the TV cant hear each other.

this is a broker & they have a main TV that is on, they want users to be able to go off hook & listen to the TV in case the area is to loud & the user wants to hear whats going on.

Bring the TV audio into the switch as a music source. Create a VDN with a vector that has 1 step: 'wait 999 seconds hearing music'. The VDN can be assigned to a system abbreviated-dial list or the station user can just dial the VDN.

connect it to an analog port. "ch announc" and add an annoucement extention with a type of "analog-m" and under Q put a "B" for barge-in. Dial the annoucement extension and you're done. Can add a speeddial with the annc number on the guys phone.
