Help with VB.net Datagrid

What I would like to do is have a little tiny icon or asterick appear in a datagrid cell that meets a certain criteria. Need some way of showing the user that these certain cells are different from the rest.

Any Ideas would be appreciated

You could store the icon as a BLOB and use the SQL to return the BLOB or NULL based on the criteria. Then load the BLOB into the datagrid.
