Hello all,
I have a problem that I need some help with. Being that I am very new to networking with CISCO, I am having a problem setting up a connection. Here is the situation:
1. I have an Office and a co-location.
2. I have a CISCO 2524 and a CISCO 1721 both with T1 wic's in them
3. I have a dedicated leased T1 line from SBC for comms between both locations.
I need to know how to test to make sure that the routers can talk to each other before I take one of the routers to the co-location. I think that I have the Point to Point config figured out. I would like to know if there is a way and procedure so I can put both routers on my desk, connect them to each other with the Point to Point config that I plan on using, and then make sure that they can talk to each other like they will when they are up and active?
sorry for the run on sentence...
Thanks in advance
Melbert
