Im looking into getting a business set up with dsl or cable internet service. They ISP provides the router and modem. And the company that this will be set up for has a customer side and a business side they want hooked up. I get 5 static ip address with one ISP. I want the router to assign ip addresses to the customer side with DHCP but I want to make the business side just a workgroup. Customer end has about 10 connections and business side has about 10 connections. The customers will bring in there PCs they are not already there how am I going to run this off one internet connnection. And keep the business side secure from the customer side. Any help will be greatly appriciated
Thanks in advance.

I don't get very well what you mean, but I belive you want the two offices to be apart fomr each other but you would like some kind of traffic between them
Well, I'll give you my idea, you tell me if that is what you want.

If your router supports VLANs you can do this without the server. Also you can use another router as the server(acting as a router) A+, MCP, CCNA
