Have a Surface Pro 3 cant find a dvd/cd player to work on usb port not enough power or driver to work tried asus lg etc nothing works, why would Microsoft sell a laptop that will not support it

look for an external drive that has a power adapter. Or just dump whatever it is on to a thumb drive, and install it that way.
