Help with some commands please

Can any one help.

I have seen some commands on this forum, and although I know they work I was just wondering what they did or what their significance was.

The first is the option "Extendable" with port forwarding on an ACL's

The second is the command "transport input all" on a VTY line.

The third is the command "scheduler max-task-time 5000"

The last is the ACL "permit tcp any any established" And why I would need this when my ACL permits tcp anyway??

Any explanations would be appreciated.
